Multiplayer for Rumble
Currently we have two coders working on Multiplayer for Rumble. One Coder is working on DS to DS local Wireless while the other is working on Wi-Fi. We are currently trying to make our own servers or get free ones for Wi-Fi.
Due to some problems between Arm7 and Palib. We would need to have two versions because Wi-Fi and DS to DS cannot be in the same version. So there will be one Version for Wi-Fi and another for DS to DS Multiplayer.
There might be Multiplayer in the near future too. There will not be DS Download-Play, because Palib doesn't support it.
An now for the two coders. The one working on DS to DS has currently not coded for Rumble before and would like to remain anonymous till done so as not to get pressurized. The other was the returning coder I mentioned before. Deba94 is returning to code Wi-Fi for Rumble which has been confirmed by one of our main coders.

Entire Code Being Redone.
The main reason why the Final Beta of Demo 5 hasn't arrived yet is because the coders are attempting to redo the code.
This is because the most recent FAT System attempt was not successful. And the coders had to fall back on to efs and redo the efs. Unfortunately the code was still incredibly unmanageable, as they had to fix 10, 000 lines of codes. So to make the coding easier and more manageable.
The coders are attempting to redo the code. Hopefully once this is done. Future demos can be released faster with much shorter periods of wait time in between.
Whether this is good or bad news is up to you to decide. But personally I feel that this is a smart long-term solution in order to solve the current coding crisis.

FAT System delayed but still on track
As Strata said a week ago. The Coders have been working on a new Final Beta to be released. This Final Beta is NOT the Real Demo 5 but rather just a preview. However It was delayed several times. As of now the FAT System is 99% Complete.

Cod4r is one of our 3 main coders who are Cod4r, Strata and OblivianStudio.
The estimated release of this final beta is 1 to 2 days. But that is the best case scenario is all goes well and that there are no setbacks.
This final beta will also include a special surprise only known to a very small group of people.

I'm Back :-D
I just want to let the Rumble public know I'm back! The French game isn't that great (I'm now on the swim team so had limited time) but my Teacher was still impressed I made it. I just want to let you guys know I'm back and ready to code.

FAT system almost complete
As you know, Chris, myself, and the other coders have been working on the FAT system for the past week or so. After many problems (usually forcing us to make a restart), I am pleased to say that progress is great and a demo should be ready in 2-3 days if all goes well.
We have decided to use KT_lib for most of our FAT loading functions, and this has allowed us to drasticly reduce the amount of code needed. Eg, to load a sprite from FAT you would usually need 3 lines of code, but KT_lib has reduced this to 1 line of code. We are also adding in dual sprite support (this means that the character can move/fight on the top screen).
Unfortunately, due to compatibility issues, we have not been able to re-implement music yet, though we are working on it. On the other hand, I have the sound system up and running again.
What you can expect in Demo 5 Final Beta:
-Fat support
-Fixed sound system
-Credits screen
-New menu system
-Skinning support
-New characters
-New stages
-Various bugs and glitches fixed.
